Womans Retreat - October 15 & 15
Ana’s pride and joy is her family of four children and loving hus-band. Ana is devoted to loving God’s Children...All of them and finding ways to advocate and care for the least of these as Chris-tians are called to do.
Ana graduated from San Angelo Central, Angelo State University and got her Master in Divinity from Brite Divinity School at TCU in Ft. Worth. Ana has worked as a Family Support Worker for Healthy Fami-lies. She advocated for the rights for the children in the system as well as special education services for special needs children .
They were foster parents for several children of which 4 they them-selves adopted. Ana worked as a parent mentor at the Concho Valley Community Development Center. She was also a board member for Gali-lee Community Development Center and a Youth Minister in Ft. Worth.
Ana is completing her Clinical Pastoral Education at Parkland Hospi-tal in Dallas. She envisions a work filled with Love, Justice, Peace, Joy, and Comfort. Ana truly believes in “loving God and lov-ing your neighbor as yourself.

Crop Walk Sunday October 16th @ 2:00 p.m.
Meet at Kids Kingdom Park
Participants may bring non-perishable items to go to the food bank in addition the funds collected for walking.

Congregational meeting on October 23rd.
There will be a congregational meeting on October 23rd immediately following the morning worship service. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to elect church leadership for 2012. Please make plans to attend this very important meeeting and voice your thoughts concerning the future of Community Hills Christian Churc.

 

- Church Website - The website is in need of pictures of the Church in action. If you would please contact Jerrod Clements and get him some pictures past and present he will get them uploaded to the website so everyone can view them.

 

Project Dignidad

Food needed for the omonth of October is: Beans of all kinds (Ranch, Green, Pinto, etc...) Macaroni & Cheese, and any other type of everyday food.

Church Family,
          We are continuing to provide our gifts of food to Project Dignidad.  See below the schedule of giving we will be following. You will receive weekly reminders via e-mail. The Children’s Ministries will be helping with the delivery of the food.
